Disney dining reservations open 60 days before each dining date, and Disney resort guests can book dining for their entire stay (up to 10 nights) starting 60 days before check-in. Last-minute trips booked 1–2 months out are possible, but advance planning ensures the most magical options.
3. What’s the difference between staying on-site and off-site at Disney?
Staying on-site provides perks like early park entry, complimentary transportation, and immersive theming. Off-site options may seem less expensive but often you not only miss out on those conveniences but you also incur other costs (e.g. parking or ride-share fees). For the best staterooms, pricing, and dining options, booking 12–18 months ahead is ideal. Disney cruises sell out quickly, especially for peak times like summer and holidays.
9. Are there Disney cruises from New York in 2027?
Yes. The Disney Wish is scheduled to sail seven voyages from New York between September 29 and October 31, 2027, with 4- to 7-night itineraries to Bermuda, New England, and Atlantic Canada. It’s a great option for New Jersey and Northeast families who would rather not fly to Florida. Itineraries can change, so reach out for current availability.
10. Do I need a passport for a cruise?
For closed-loop cruises (departing and returning to the same U.S. port), a birth certificate and government-issued photo ID are usually accepted. However, at Embrace The Magic Travel, we strongly recommend passports in case of emergencies or itinerary changes.

Yes. Our Disney planning packages are fixed-fee, so you know the cost up front. Your planning fee is due after your complimentary consultation call, before we prepare personalized quotes or make any bookings, and it is non-refundable. 21. Can I transfer a Disney reservation I already booked?
Yes. If you booked directly with Disney, you can transfer your reservation to us and choose the planning package that fits your family. Start with our Disney reservation transfer form.
22. What if something goes wrong during my trip?
You won’t be alone. If flights are delayed, hotels overbook, or plans change, we’re your advocate. We either handle the calls and problem-solving (or connect you with the best resource in our extensive network) so you can keep enjoying your vacation.
