Disney Cruise Line Ports & Itineraries
From tropical beaches to Alaska and Europe, find the Disney cruise destination and departure port that fit your family.
Where Will Your Family Sail Next?
When most families think about Disney Cruise Line, they picture a sunny Caribbean vacation or a stop at Disney’s private island destinations. But Disney sails to more places than you might realize! From Alaska and Europe to Bermuda and Southeast Asia, there are wonderful opportunities to explore the world together while enjoying a Disney cruise experience.
The right itinerary depends on more than the destination. Your children’s ages, how far you want to travel, and whether your family prefers relaxing days or exploring new places all matter. And because Disney’s itineraries and departure ports change seasonally, we’ll help you sort through the current options and find the right fit.
Explore Disney Cruise Destinations
The Bahamas
The Bahamas are a popular place to start exploring Disney Cruise Line. Select itineraries include Disney’s island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, giving families the opportunity to enjoy a beach-focused vacation.
The Caribbean
Disney offers Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean sailings, giving families several ways to explore the region. Southern Caribbean itineraries include destinations such as Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Dominica, depending on the sailing.
Alaska
Looking for something different from a tropical cruise? Disney’s announced Alaska sailings depart from Vancouver, Canada. This is an option worth exploring for families interested in visiting Alaska together instead of choosing a traditional beach destination.
Europe
Disney Cruise Line also explores Europe, with announced itineraries including calls in Zadar, Croatia; Trieste, Italy; and Hellesylt, Norway. For families considering a European vacation, a cruise offers another way to explore destinations together.
Baja and the Mexican Riviera
Disney’s West Coast itineraries include Baja and the Mexican Riviera, with calls in Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, along with Catalina Island. San Diego serves as a departure port for these sailings.
Panama Canal
For families interested in a longer cruise, Disney has announced 14-night Panama Canal sailings traveling to and from San Diego. These itineraries are worth considering when you have more vacation time available.
Bermuda, New England and Canada
Disney’s announced itineraries include Bermuda, Boston, Halifax, and St. John. Fall sailings from New York City make this region especially interesting for New Jersey and Northeast families considering a departure closer to home.
Southeast Asia
Disney Cruise Line also sails from Singapore, offering 3- and 4-night Southeast Asia itineraries. These shorter cruises provide another destination option for families who want to include a Disney cruise in their travel plans.
Where Do Disney Cruises Depart From?
Your departure port is an important part of choosing the right cruise. Disney Cruise Line’s departure ports and available itineraries change by season, so we’ll help you identify which options are available for your travel plans.
- Port Canaveral, Florida: A departure point for Disney Cruise Line sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean.
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Offers announced Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries, along with a Bermuda sailing.
- New York City: Fall 2027 sailings include visits to Bermuda, Boston, St. John, and Halifax, making New York especially appealing for families in New Jersey and the Northeast.
- San Juan, Puerto Rico: Serves as a departure port for Southern Caribbean itineraries.
- Galveston, Texas: Offers Disney sailings that include select 7-night Bahamas itineraries.
- San Diego, California: A departure port for Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries, as well as Panama Canal sailings.
- Vancouver, Canada: Serves as the departure port for Disney’s Alaska sailings.
- Singapore: Offers 3- and 4-night Southeast Asia sailings.
How to Choose the Right Disney Cruise Itinerary
- Start With Your Vacation Length. Disney’s announced itineraries range from 3 to 14 nights, so consider how much time your family wants to spend cruising.
- Think About Your Vacation Style. Decide whether your family would prefer more time enjoying the ship or an itinerary focused on visiting different ports.
- Consider Travel to the Port. The distance between home and your departure port can influence which cruise feels easiest for your family.
- Keep Your Kids’ Ages in Mind. Think about your children’s ages and interests when deciding between a shorter sailing, a longer voyage, or a particular destination.
- Look at Your Travel Season. Disney’s departure ports and itineraries change throughout the year, so your preferred travel season may help narrow the options.

Disney Cruise Line Ports & Itineraries FAQs
Where does Disney Cruise Line sail?
Disney Cruise Line offers itineraries to the Bahamas, Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Baja and the Mexican Riviera, Bermuda, New England and Canada, and Southeast Asia. Disney has also announced Panama Canal sailings. Destinations vary by season, and not every itinerary is available throughout the year. We help families explore the current options and find a destination that fits their vacation plans.
Which Disney cruise ports are closest to us?
For our New Jersey and Northeast families, New York City is an especially exciting option, with announced fall 2027 Disney sailings visiting Bermuda, Boston, St. John, and Halifax. Disney also departs from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale in Florida, along with other ports throughout North America and Singapore. The most convenient departure port depends on where your family lives, your preferred destination, and the season you’re traveling.
How long should our first Disney cruise be?
Disney’s announced itineraries range from 3 to 14 nights, so there’s no single perfect length for every family. A shorter sailing may appeal to families who want to try cruising for the first time, while a longer itinerary gives you more vacation time. We recommend thinking about your children’s ages, your available vacation days, and whether you’d rather spend more time aboard the ship or exploring destinations.
Do Disney Cruise Line itineraries change?
Yes! Disney Cruise Line’s destinations, departure ports, and available itineraries change from season to season. A sailing offered during one travel period may not be available during another. That’s why we don’t recommend choosing a departure port or destination based on an older itinerary. Our team follows Disney’s current sailing announcements and helps families understand what’s available when they’re ready to plan.
