Plan to pick up your Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Party Card at MVMCP
A special Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom party card is one of the fun extras you receive when attending a Halloween or Christmas holiday party at Walt Disney World. The party cards work as part of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game. Every year a new party card is issued.
In case you’re new to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game, guests can team up with Merlin to help defeat scheming Disney Villains who wish to take over Magic Kingdom Park. Guests locate villain hideouts throughout the park and visit magic portals where they use special spell cards to ward off the villain’s attack. Each spell card stars a different Disney character, each with their own unique powers.
The game begins at the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., where you can pick up complimentary spell cards and maps. Additional cards can be purchased at select merchandise locations.
A first peek at the 2018 MVMCP Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Party Card was released at the end of October. This year’s card features the Birds from Tiki Room.
Imagineer Jonathan Ackley said this year’s exclusive party card was whipped up by Merlin the Magician after he became enchanted with a quartet of caroling birds down in the tropics.
“These charismatic avian performers inspired Merlin to create a new charm to give his acolytes for the year’s holiday celebration,” Jonathan said. “The Disney Villains will need to watch out, or they’ll end up with egg on their faces!”
After you have your party wristband, head to the firehouse on Main Street. They will hand out special party cards out front. One per person/wristband.
